Senior Accountant Job Opening in austin, Texas - Senior Accountant Prestigious Downtown Law Firm has immediate opening for a full time Senior Accountant in our Austin, Texas office. McGinnis, Lochridge and Kilgore, L.L.P was founded more than 83 years ago. The firm is organized both by type of practice (litigation, administrative and business practices) and by industry law area. Senior Accountant position will be responsible for payroll processing and work related to the 401k and pension plan, including work on the annual pension plan audit. Other duties will include time and billing reports and research, cash receipts, providing assistance with the annual budget process, general ledger research and balancing, fixed asset management, accounts receivable management, financial statement preparation, and other projects to assist the accounting manager. Bachelor?s degree in Accounting required and 10 years of experience as an accountant. This individual must have a strong level of proficiency in Excel and Word and excellent communication skills. This position requires someone who is very detail oriented, can multi-task and prioritize assignments. Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to act as a team player.
