Process Specialist (Machining) Job Opening in rochester, New York - Process Specialist (Machining) Position Title: Process Specialist Company: LSI SOLUTIONS Job: LSI SOLUTIONS has an exciting opportunity available for a Process Specialist who is a detail oriented, self motivated and has the skills and precision of a jewelry maker. This position will be responsible for providing production support and handcrafting parts for our medical devices. Company Info: LSI SOLUTIONS , located in beautiful Victor, New York, is a medical device company dedicated to advancing minimally invasive therapeutics through research, development, manufacturing, and marketing proprietary products. Duties: ? Follow work instructions and/or routing steps to complete assigned work. This includes but is not limited to the production processing of sew tips, needle guide assemblies, needle assemblies, and any other metal or plastic fabricated component and/or sub-assembly, as required. ? Provide the necessary precision machining and cosmetic finishing to meet standards. ? Assist engineering and engineering technicians in process development activities as requested. ? Complete necessary paperwork and sign-off including travelers, line clearance forms, training documentation, and time sheets. ? Provide input on process and quality improvement opportunities. Skills & Qualifications: ? Proficient in reading engineering drawings ? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ? Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal ? Use of hand tools: manual, electrical and pneumatic ? Proficient in use of measuring equipment: gages, micrometers, microscopes, calipers, gage pins and blocks and height gages with high precision and tolerances. ? Proficient in use of various types of light machinery and equipment including, but not limited to drills, sand blasters, welders, Geshwein tools. Experience: ? 3 to 5 years experience in related field or trade. Status: Full Time Employee Salary: Salary based on experience.
