Affordable Housing Project Manager Job Opening in san diego, California - Affordable Housing Project Manager Affordable Housing Project Manager Immediate opening for a full time Project Manager for affordable housing, multi-family, real estate development projects with a dynamic, growing, real estate development entity in Southern California. Mostly new construction with some rehabilitation projects. Minimum requirements � Bachelors degree, one to three years experience in affordable housing (construction and real estate development), completing financial analyses /proformas (Excel), working with TCAC and the LIHTC program, excellent computer skills (Word, Publisher, etc.), California drivers license and access to insured automobile. The Project Manager will be responsible for all phases of development, including initial feasibility analyses; site identification, analyses and acquisition; entitlements; financing applications and packaging; managing partnerships; managing the project team and schedule including the architect, consultants, the construction and the contractor and transitioning the project to property management. Plusses: A bachelors or graduate degree in architecture, urban planning, business, real estate development or a related field, or an MBA. Experience applying for and successfully securing LIHTC, HUD, HCD, HOME, and other financing sources, a California real estate license, bilingual and any graduate qualifications. The position will also entail strong oral and written communication skills and working with non-profits, social service providers, Cities and governing agencies, building and planning departments, lenders and the public. Travel to and from our projects will be required. You must be a self starter; highly energetic; capable of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines and be willing to become and remain an integral part of a growing company.
