EMR Support Analyst
Large Healthcare Management Company in Southern New Jersey is seeking experienced, innovative, knowledgeable, results, and service oriented technical or clinical person to work in this fast paced Health Care IT Industry. This position will report to the Director of Applications in the IT Department. Ideal candidate would have over a year of Helpdesk or EMR Support experience.
Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with clients
Answer calls from clients regarding EMR software issues
Record phone calls in ticket system
Effectively communicate with providers and EMR end users
Understand the clinical workflow of the EMR end users
Follow Continuum?s Process for Reviewing reports for missing charges
Understand the ICD and CPT coding methodologies
Troubleshoot reported software problems and determine course of action for resolution
Contribute in tasks and projects as assigned by management as necessary to help in the development of application test strategies and plans
Work with teams to improve processes, system performance and look for opportunities to automate processes and gain efficiencies
Monitor system activities, identifies issues, resolves problems, and appropriately escalates issues to manager or vendor
Qualifications
Experience in the IT industry is a must
Experience with GE Centricity EMR (Logician) or with another EMR system preferred
Knowledge of GE Centricity Business a plus
Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to communicate well with Physicians and staff
Knowledge of clinical workflows preferred
Self-reliant individual with strong multitasking skills
Experience with office operations preferred
Must be available for on-call rotation
