Chief Operations Officer (COO) Job Opening in Pueblo, Colorado - El Pueblo is Colorado's pre-eminent behavioral healthcare facility serving adolescent clients and their families in a therapeutic setting. Our 57 acre campus includes a gymnasium, humanities building, on site academy, parks and cottage living environment. We offer inpatient, outpatient and short term services to meet individual treatment needs.
Our Chief Operations Officer is responsible for the company?s day to day operating activities. COO will lead and manage the programs areas of El Pueblo including Milieu Services, Clinical, Education, and Support.
Essential Duties include :
Assist the CEO in financial planning and development of new programs and services
Establish and maintain positive relationships with referring agencies, services and resources relevant to referring community
Assumes executive leadership and support of the organization in the absence of the CEO
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agencies
Act as facility manager overseeing the adequacy, maintenance and acquisition of property, campus and equipment
Provide effective leadership and guidance
Requirements:
Master?s degree in relevant field of study and 5 years of executive management and residential experience with a working knowledge of JACHO standards.
