JavaScript Developer Job Opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota - ADX is an International Software Development Company with offices in Minneapolis and Hong Kong and is a fast growing and an established technology leader.
We?re looking for a skilled JavaScript developer with a mastery of the hands-on aspects of desktop and mobile browser application engineering, as well as an ability to design solid architectures that integrate with other systems and technologies; the candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate these solutions verbally and in written documentation.
Responsibilities include participating in the development of client side web apps; integrating your code with other technologies (API Services, web sockets, sockets, etc); and working with UX designers and software engineers.
The Role
Design and code GameSmart apps; create and run test transactions; use insights gained to produce necessary design and code revisions. Be willing to take calculated risks
Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with team to find creative solutions
Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams
The Perfect Candidate
Successful candidates will have expertise in the following skillsets:
Knowledge of jQuery, Angular, React, , etc.
Ability to use to create backend server applications
Knowledge of using npm to manage 3rd party libraries
Using a preprocessor such as TypeScript to write JavaScript code
Knowledge of using gulp to run JavaScript tasks
Ability to use basic git commands (push, pull, merge, add, commit, remote, branch) from a terminal
The ability to learn new at a moment's notice
A love for playing and discussing games
Qualifications
4+ years writing JavaScript
3+ years of experience designing, developing and testing Mobile Web Applications
1+ years of experience with API concepts and consuming REST APIs to communicate with remote systems
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript ES5+
