Controller/Bookkeeper Job Opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Role Summary/Purpose:
TierView Development, an early stage real estate development company, is looking to expand its Philadelphia office through the addition of key personnel. We are a responsible and creative developer focused on long term hold projects in the greater Center City area of Philadelphia. The Controller, Bookkeeper, & Officer Manager will be foremost responsible for day to day data entry, bill payment, bookkeeping processes, and monthly reconciliation of multiple bank accounts. He/She will also be instrumental in implementation of organizational process, data management, and office administration. The ideal candidate will have solid foundational experience and an eagerness to learn and tackle any problem, as well as a sunny and can-do attitude every day.
Controller, Bookkeeper, Officer Manager will report to both the DoO and Principal of TVD
:
Controller: Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Principal to develop and implement plans for the infrastructure of operational and financial systems and processes.
Maintain and enhance Chart of Accounts for different types of books.
Assist with development, operating, and property budget creation.
Generate and maintain robust reports for internal auditing and investors.
Track capital calls and outlays
Bookkeeping: Keep an immaculate and at all times current set of books.
Diligent and accurate data sourcing, entry, and organization.
A/R & A/P.
Monthly reconciliation of all entities (currently 13).
Manage cash flows and balances across all bank accounts (currently 30).
Office Management: Oversee and Run a high functioning office with a smile.
Schedule cleaning and maintenance as appropriate.
Maintain a well stocked snack & office supply cabinet.
Qualifications:
5 years experience as bookkeeper. Preferably with construction books experience.
Strong organizational skills and exquisite attention to detail; Focus!
Solid business writing and grammar skills.
A generally positive attitude and a desire to work in a fun upbeat family atmosphere.
Generally technologically savvy with strong understanding of software and integrations.
Specifically extensive Intacct software experience & proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook; and Adobe Acrobat.
