Duties & Responsibilities
Performs comprehensive medical exams for walk-in and primary care patients requiring health evaluation
Performs minor surgical procedures as needed (e.g. suturing)
Orders and reviews labs and other ancillary diagnostics tests, integrates into management plan
Collaborates and communicates effectively with other members of healthcare team
Educating and guiding patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits
Managing overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues
Prescribing medications
Maintains knowledge base by reading professional literature and attending staff development and continuing education programs annually
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 1 to 2 years in Family Practice, Internal Medicine
Maintain a valid license as a Nurse Practitioner in the State.
