Senior Tax Accountant Job Opening in San Diego, California - Senior Tax Accountant Sahmel & Associates - San Diego, CA
We are a boutique CPA firm specializing in high net worth individuals and their related businesses. We are searching for an experienced and detail oriented senior tax accountant who has the ability to mentor our junior staff.
Job Description:
Preparation and review of business tax returns including forms 1120, 1120S and 1065 (990 experience a plus)
Preparation and review of individual/trust tax returns
Preparation and review of financial statements
Assist tax manager as needed
Requirements:
Communicate with clients to gather information and complete tax returns
Five years plus of public accounting experience (small to medium size firms preferred)
CPA license required
Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Proficient in QuickBooks
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Lacerte
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Great customer service skills
Able to solve problems
Motivated self-starter
Supervisory experience (2+ years)
Experience reviewing the work of other staff (2+ years)
