Staff Accountant/Tax Preparer Job Opening in Woodland Hills, California - Growing tax/accounting firm Woodland Hills is seeking an exceptional individual to join the firm and help us provide great client service.
The firm provides tax preparation and planning services, and primarily uses Quickbooks software for our business clients. Clients are in all types of industries and have widely different needs for assistance with their books and tax work.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience, including tax preparation for individuals and multiple types of business entities, as well as accounting and Quickbooks skills. We also prepare a variety of other government forms including payroll taxes, sales taxes, 1099s, business licenses, etc., so a variety of experience is very helpful.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required to help you work with us and our clients. Your personal characteristics of being a person who doesn?t stand on title or role, but acts to get the job done in the best way possible for the client will ultimately provide you with outstanding opportunities in the firm.
The position has significant growth possibilities, including partnership, for the right candidate who proves him or herself capable of taking care of clients? needs, as you work within the firm.
This is a full time position. Overtime is required, primarily in February through April, and September and October. We use Outlook, Word, Excel, Quickbooks and ProSystem fx extensively.
