Location: Castle Rock, CO
Mid-size, rapidly growing, privately owned company is seeking an Accounting Specialist reporting directly to the Director of Finance. Company has doubled in size each of the last 3 years. This is a position that will help the company to continue their rapid expansion and growth nationwide.
This position is responsible for various accounting functions including A/R and A/P with customer invoice generation, multi-entity general ledger activity and monthly reporting, and maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records. This position supports both internal and external customers, develops relationships and responds to inquiries and researches requests in a timely manner. Must possess ability to work in a complex and changing organization and adapt to changes in structure and work priorities.
Responsibilities:
Process customer invoices and data input of financial transactions ? excellent QuickBooks skills a must
Management of A/R
Reconcile and research account discrepancies
Maintain accurate accounting records
Administrative and data entry functions as needed
Assist in monthly closings and preparation of financial statements
Requirements:
Associate degree in accounting, finance or business an advantage
Medical billing experience an asset
Bookkeeping or accounting experience required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills mandatory
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks
Ability to take initiative and work independently and work effectively with teams
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Highest level of honesty and integrity
Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form, and relate effectively with others
Maintain strict confidentiality
Compensation:
$12-16/ hour
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24,000.00 to $32,000.00 /year
