Route Sales Representative/Driver Des Moines Job Opening in Des Moines, Iowa - Summary
Responsible for driving a Company vehicle to customer sites to sell and stock products and perform routine scheduled equipment maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pull order accurately and safely load vehicle for delivery of product(s) to customers.
Rotate and stock product to customer specification.
Generate customer invoice, based on sale. Print invoice using a handheld computer.
Perform routine maintenance: clean equipment and conduct minor equipment repairs. As necessary, replace equipment according to equipment lifecycle and assist with installations.
Provide excellent customer service and proactively resolve customer concerns.
Upsell by introducing new products and conduct two sales calls per day.
Maintain the warehouse and inventory including accurately receiving and stocking equipment, point of service materials, and product to ensure rotation.
Maintain the vehicle including following maintenance schedule.
