Aureus Health Services (Aureus) is a specialty pharmacy and health management company, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, with six dispensing facilities in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and California that provide drug fulfillment and other solutions designed to address the complexity of specialty medications and health conditions for patients, medical professionals, healthcare payors and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Aureus operates two lines of business: Aureus Specialty Pharmacy Services and Aureus Health Management. Aureus? specialty pharmacy division dispenses and delivers specialty medications to patients living with chronic health conditions such as Crohn?s Disease, Hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, Multiple Sclerosis, Psoriasis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Solid Organ Transplantation. Aureus Specialty Pharmacy Services offers critical support services for these specialty medications including benefits investigation and prior authorization management, sourcing of financial assistance, appropriate utilization of medication, refill and adherence programs, and other programs that drive optimal outcomes for patients on specialty medication therapy.
Job Summary:
Effectively promote and sell Aureus Specialty Pharmacy services by actively selling to new physician office accounts and by maintaining current accounts so that sales and profitability goals are consistently achieved.
Territory:
Portland OR and Central WA
Job Responsibilities:
Generate new referrals and revenue to meet or exceed company?s sales expectations in all applicable areas.
Maintain and grow referrals with existing physician accounts by providing excellent customer service by collaborating with internal and external customers.
Develop and maintain current accounts by providing updates and resolutions to customer needs/issues, and coordinating with operations, marketing, payer relations, trade, and clinical to facilitate resolutions.
Effectively analyze market trends and the competitive landscapes to best utilize customer data for increasing sales opportunities and maximizing company profit.
Clearly understand and articulate Aureus? advantages and benefits over the competition to current and prospective MD and Physician offices, and to adapt message to best fit needs of the customer.
Identify key marketing and sponsorship opportunities that drive brand awareness in key markets, and to partner with Aureus marketing to ensure marketing material is relevant to meet the needs of the customer value propositions.
Represent Aureus at industry meetings and conferences to raise awareness of the company, and to educate the applicable medical staff on what a specialty pharmacy is and the benefits of using Aureus.
Maintain a high level of understanding of the market conditions within assigned territory as well as the disease states and pharmaceuticals that Aureus serves.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree AND at least one (1) year of outside sales experience OR 2 years? experience in a related field.
Must be results oriented with a strategic focus on sales
Ability to actively engage in developing new business
Must demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges
Dedicated to making customer service a priority
Must have a self-starting, self-managing independent work style
Adept in build trusted advisor relationships
