Manager for New Sales Program Job Opening in Eugene, Oregon - We are starting an entirely new program, and need a Sales Manager for that program. This program has proven results in other parts of the country where started.
The right person will have experience in hiring, and coaching a sales team of about 5.
We have the program in place, and all the tools are built.
Here's part of the Job Description:
Summary:
Lead a minimum team of five residential sales representatives to achieve security alarm sales. This responsibility is to be achieved by selling new residential and light commercial systems with the Security Monster products, takeover and conversions of existing systems, and additional services via the sales app.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Will supervise sales reps and any associated support personnel that is required
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization?s policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Skills:
Door to door prospecting and selling
Ability to one call close business
Excellent time management, planning, and forward-thinking skills
Self-motivated with a professional attitude
Excellent communication and listening skills
Excellent team building, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Good decision making skills, very organized, and detail oriented
Driven by objective with a high sense of urgency
Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to train and motivate a commissioned sales force
Demonstrate a solid understanding of in-home selling techniques
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of sales reps, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Four to five years sales experience to include two to three years of sales management
Bachelor?s degree preferred
Sales management preferably in-home industry or door to door
