Description:
- Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), financial control related activities such as monitoring and analyzing program cost, coordinating and summarizing estimates at completion data, preparing cost and performance management reports, reviewing and approving invoices prior to submittal, coordinating manpower projection activity, preparing internal cost of sales/profit projections, measuring, analyzing and reporting performance against planned financial metrics, determining and monitoring program funding requirements, supporting customer and internal program reviews, pricing cost estimates in support of proposals, assisting in audits, and participating in negotiations.
- As part of a team, there are opportunities for cross-training to gain exposure into other parts of the financial control and accounting organization.
- The ideal candidate has a strong desire to learn about all aspects of finance within a business unit, will have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, and a high level of motivation.
Requirements:
- The position requires a good understanding of GAAP and excellent PC skills.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SAP, HFM, Strategy Data Query Software, Pro Pricer, EVMS)
- Bachelor's degree
