Responsibilities
Advisors Ahead is seeking individuals who have a strong desire in becoming Financial Advisors/Planners. Our unique business model will allow you to learn through observation, become fully licensed and proficient in providing sound financial advice while being mentored by our team along with the Senior Advisor you are assigned. The position as a Financial Advisor is continually ranked as one of the most lucrative careers in America as it provides incredible earnings, a great deal of personal satisfaction as you help individuals meet their personal financial goals while providing work/life balance.
Each Resident will experience a range of assignments providing an introduction for lasting success:
o Exposure to the various business functions to gain an understanding of the different roles and components of the business
o Orientation to the industry and to the specific firm
o Participate in the process of preparing financial planning proposals for clients
o Participation in the preparation for client meetings and portfolio reviews
o Work with assigned teams to assist with client acquisition opportunities
o Use your knowledge of social media tools to develop marketing strategies
o Observe internal operational and business meetings to learn the strategy and efforts in the profession
o Prepare and study to obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses and potentially the CFP designation
Experience/Skills Required/ Qualifications
o Current College graduate, or graduating senior, with a BA/BS, or Masters, with coursework in Financial Planning, Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
o A strong interest in personal financial planning and wealth management
o A passion to help people manage their financial futures
o A team player, with willingness to go above and beyond to deliver excellence
o Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
o PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
o Complex and creative problem solving ability
o A 3.0+ Grade Point Average
