Purposes:
The Parts Clerk plays a critical role in helping the company to acquire and maintain appropriate inventory levels to take care of the customer and to respond to requests from technicians and management quickly and professionally. With thousands of dairy parts and components, this position helps to identify and track the store inventory for the company and works consistently in the accounting system to input make sure parts are appropriately billed out as needed and accounted for.
Responsibilities:
Requests parts and supplies from internal and external sources
Watches closely and maintains appropriate inventory levels for the service center
Provides superior customer service, in person and over the telephone
Responds quickly and accurately to part requests
Maintains accurate files and works well in the system to ensure accuracy of inventory levels
Ensures complete organization and cleanliness of parts area and shop
Assists ADS management with other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications:
At least 2 years experience working with parts and inventory management strongly preferred. Prior Dairy Industry experience is preferred but not required
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and other technologies to accomplish your job responsibilities
Ability to lift 100 pounds from ground level repeatedly and work with it overhead
Successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and physical
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with prior forklift experience preferred
Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment for job appropriate duties to include protective eyewear, clothing, gloves, and appropriate footwear to provide protection from chemicals and other potential work hazards in accordance with the ADS PPE Program.
