Position Summary
Global Maximum Educational Opportunities, Inc. (G-MEO) is a study and internship abroad provider in the Greater China area. G-MEO is dedicated to delivering China Study Abroad Program options meeting the highest quality standards in a variety of locations. The intern will be an important player in the college division team. G-MEO is dedicated to increasing the number of American students most likely to flourish and succeed in studying abroad in China.
The intern works part-time in the headquarters of Global Maximum Educational Opportunities, Inc. in New York City. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of College Division, the intern serves as the point person for student affairs, marketing, as well as office administration of the college division. The intern also performs duties as assigned to ensure the proper function of the office.
Job Description
Assist in enrollment process for all G-MEO programs
Coordinate the process of course consolidation for all academic programs
Assist pre-departure affairs for out-bound U.S. students
Assist faculty pre-departure affairs
Manage record keeping and filing, monitoring and timely updating to folders and materials in Dropbox, including student, alumni, faculty and key contact lists.
Manage office documents, materials and conference room booking
Coordinate daily office operations
Assist with G-MEO email marketing databases, generate attractive marketing newsletters, and make sure the database is updated and accurate
Assist with optimizing company pages within each social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, , etc)
Assist with G-MEO marketing campaigns.
Assist with in-bound programs. Make connections and facilitate on-the-ground logistics for these programs
Qualification
Preferable major in International Education, Higher Education Administration or related fields. Advanced degree preferred
Prior and International Education program administrative experience preferred. Study abroad in China experience a plus
Strong organizational, interpersonal skills required
Ability to represent the company in a positive way to diverse populations including students, parents and other Administrators. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and willingness to learn technology and data driven systems
Business administration or accounting experience a plus
