Deputy General Manager, Quality Control

JX Nippon Oil and Energy USA is seeking Deputy General Manager to support the Quality Department.
The requirements for the position are:
Three (3) to eight (8) years? experience in Laboratory / Quality Management
B.S. Degree in Science, Engineering or a technical field related to JX Nippon?s products with experience in the Petroleum or Automotive Indust
Experience with the lubricant or grease testing is desired ? examples include Kinematic Viscosity, CCS, MRV, TAN, TBN, ICP, Flash point, Density, NOACK, Penetration, Water Washout, Four Ball, Fretting Wear
Certification or experience in ISO 9001 or TS16949
Problems solving / problem prevention skills
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Supervise daily quality lab activities
Leading the QC team and assist with determining work schedules, priorities and troubleshooting issues (including lab equipment)
Work with minimal guidance to make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results
Understand the formulations of our products and raw materials to create production blend sheets
Assist with implementation of new technologies and new product implementation
Drive continuous improvement efforts for the lab operations
Solving problems and making daily decisions that impact finished product disposition
Approve the release of products
Assist with maintaining laboratory equipment
Assist with leading the Management System, including NCR, CAR, Continuous Improvement and Internal Auditing activities
Participating in all external audits including customer audits and visits
Create and maintain work instructions and other documents for the QC group.
Maintain ISO documentation according to approved practices and to adhere to the ISO 9001 quality management system
