Provider Network Recruiter Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - Job Function: Recruit Physician, and ancillary service providers Baltimore and surrounding counties in Maryland, to sign network participation agreements that are in accordance with health plan and Sate guidelines. Ensure that all necessary documentation and information are included.
Seeking Network Recruiters for the following Maryland Counties:
Allegany
Baltimore City
Washington
Hartford
Frederick
Cecil
Carroll
Howard
Baltimore
Anne Arundel
Montgomery
Prince Georges
Major Responsibilities
Recruit and develop a provider network for assigned region
Identify and initiate contact with potential providers
Negotiate contracts
Coordinate and provide oversight to the provider set-up and contract configuration department to ensure appropriate claims adjudication
Assist with and track credentialing activities
Facilitate the organization of provider focus groups
May require up to 25% travel
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Experience in Maryland Counties. Education /Experience: Bachelor?s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, related field or equivalent experience. Three plus years of contracting or provider relations experience in healthcare, Medicare managed care or insurance related environment.
License: Valid driver?s license
