We are seeking a Senior Software Developer who will work with our clients to build and maintain Web applications and portals for a variety of audiences. We are looking for someone who can be a full?stack developer that can handle HTML5, CSS, and Javascript, as well as backend MVC, WebAPI, C# and Entity Framework code. Many of our applications are public facing, so we are seeking developers that have an eye for design and color and know their way around Bootstrap and responsive design basics, but can also wire up the logic that drives those pretty screens. You?ll also be directly interfacing with our clients and the rest of the team in Bethesda, Maryland, so strong and clear communication skills will be critical to getting the job done.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing and developing web solutions that meet user requirements and adhere to development standards. The Senior Software Developer will also add new features and fix bugs in existing applications, create functional design specifications, perform Unit testing, develop and deliver technical documentation and work collaboratively in a team environment. NOTE: We will consider independent contractors; however, candidates from agencies will not be considered.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
BS in computer science, information systems or engineering plus 5 years? experienceor an MS in computer science, information systems or engineering plus 5 years? working experience. Proficient in SQL and experience using MS SQL Server, C#, , MS Visual , Framework, MVC, JavaScript and jQuery, LINQ, CSS and HTML.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Solid understanding and hands-on professional experience with Visual Studio, 4.0, C#, JQUERY, and SQL.
2. Good knowledge of MVC 3 Architecture / Framework.
3. Good knowledge of front-end UI work with HTML5.
4. Experience with JAVASCRIPT and AJAX
5. Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
6. Ability and initiative to work independently.
7. Strong interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills.
