Exceptional Sales Consultants represent the company providing the Ultimate Consumer Experience along with maximizing the overall store sales opportunities and creating relationships with new and existing Kay Jewelers customers. Sales Consultants are accountable for individual performance.
Developing authentic relationships with the consumer by assessing their needs, making personalized product recommendations, and creating a luxury experience.
Maintaining a flexible work schedule including evening, weekend and holiday availability.
Maintain the spirit of ownership by demonstrating strong problem solving skills.

Full Time/Part Time Sales associate
Supervised directly by the Store Manager; supervised by the Assistant Manager in the Manager's
personal sales goals by developing selling skills through Company training programs
sales goal by maintaining a daily focus on standards achievement.
an active, assertive effort to sell the guest. Seeks to identify and sell according to the guest?s needs and buying potential. Works the leaseline and payment counter in an effort to solicit sales. Participates in guest calling on a regular basis.
ESP, UWP, and JRP
guest calling as required.
a complete knowledge of the the features and benefits through sales meetings, trade magazines and independent study. Completes the Diamontology course.
guest service skills to provide quality service to the guest, thus assuring repeat sales.
guest complaints quickly, efficiently and courteously.
a full understanding of Company sales and credit policies and procedures.
all Company directives, policies and procedures.
and maintains the saleability of the merchandise (i.e., that it is ticketed properly, clean and attractively displayed).
and accurately estimates costs on jewelry and watch minor repair service as necessary.
the appearance of the sales floor and display areas. Keeps showcases,windows, back rooms and understock clean and orderly.

15. Implements merchandising and advertising programs. Sets up advertised merchandise guest and assists with merchandise inventories,as requested.
