Resident Service Specialist Job Opening in los angeles, California - Resident Service Specialist This employee provides direct resident services, organizes social activities and events and provides resource referrals to the residents of Hawaiian Gardens, to enhance the educational, employment or social development of residents. This employee communicates regularly with on-site management personnel and others in order to foster information-sharing and clear communication among all levels of the resident service team. The Resident Service Specialist (RSS) is primarily responsible for interviewing residents to determine their eligibility for a wide range of community social services and providing appropriate referrals. RSS will conduct surveys and engage with residents to assess the need for additional programs/services and to encourage resident participation in existing programs and may promote their activities/programs via distribution of flyers, speaking at resident meetings, etc. RSS will prepare reports on services provided to residents and may be required to maintain regulatory files.
