Job Description Status: Exempt
Department: Retail Banking Operations
Reports to: Vice President, Retail Banking Operations
Supervises: Banking Operations Clerks
Summary: Manages Retail Banking Operations staff to insure that daily operations activity is accurate and complete. Provides deposit related support to all branches.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance and/or
Five to ten years banking operations experience.
Communication and management skills required.
Must have advanced computer skills.
Specific Job Functions:
Responsible for updating and distributing deposit policies and teller procedures.
Monitors all deposit regulatory issues to insure compliance including but not limited to, ACH, check processing, visa and banking deposit regs.
Reviews Retail Banking general ledger reconciliations.
Monitors collateral for municipal deposits.
Administers year end deposit reporting.
Completes Thrift Financial Report for deposits.
Responsible for deposit system type changes or additions.
Strong analysis and Excel knowledge.*
