SDR - Sales Development Representative - Fast-paced growing... Job Opening in San Diego, California - SpaceTrak is a SaaS that automates the data collection and analysis for real estate optimization. We are disrupting the early phase of architectural design projects with a SaaS software that will radically change an archaic process of data gathering and forecasting for Facility Managers, Architects, Interior Designers and Real Estate Consultants.
We are a small, lean, and fast-growing SaaS startup; join our growing team and you are in on the ground floor of great things to come. Our platform is an early adopter of our technology and NO ONE is doing it like we are. We are ready to hire an energetic, Sales Development Representative (SDR).
Responsibilities:
As an SDR you will connect with prospects in our targeted markets, understand their needs, explore whether SpaceTrak is the right fit for them and then pass them on to an Account Executive. You will learn how to work in a startup environment where you have the opportunity to learn a wider set of skills than you would be working for a more mainstream company. The sky's the limit for professional growth; we want to build our team with the best candidates from top to bottom. We consider our SDRs to be our Account Execs in waiting. Identify quality leads through creative research methods
Manage inbound marketing leads via our CRM
Qualify leads and understand prospect needs through outbound phone and email contact
Keep meticulous records of interactions with leads in our CRM
Additional sales team support as required
Qualifications:
Previous successful sales prospecting experience OR a strong interest in a selling role
Experience working with a CRM system a plus
Confidence to overcome objections and convert interest into qualified leads
Self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset
Thrives in a fast-paced start-up team-focused culture and adapts to a changing environment
Strong research and writing skills
Data-driven, strategic mindset
Fanatical attention to details
Logical and creative problem-solving
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

In order to effectively manage the company?s space requirements and associated costs, organizations must have systems in place for on-going data collection and analysis. Accurate data is a critical first step in optimizing site usage and real estate. Developed by two veteran interior architects, SpaceTrak grew out of a desire to have a product that automated the programming phase of a project, similar to how Autodesk automated drafting with AutoCAD twenty five years ago.
