The Role: Reporting to the Program Manager your will be responsible for: Providing operational support for day to day activities involving software distribution, updates, and operating systems deployment. Serving as an ecalation point for troubleshooting issues Monitoring and updating servers on an ongoing basis Collaborating with support and development team to improve delivery quality within the organization Assisting in building, implementing, and improving day-to-day operations The Requirements: - Experience and expertise with multi-tiered SCCM architectures that employ combinations of Central, Child, and Secondary Sites. - Demonstrable technical understanding of SCCM Inventory Data flow. - Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) mastery - SQL Server 2005/2008 administration skills - Strong grasp of WQL (WMI Query Language) and its use in building SCCM Queries & Collections - Strong knowledge regarding the contents and meaning of the entries found in SCCM Client Logs and SCCM Site Server Logs - Management Point troubleshooting skills - Experience working with SCCM Site Maintenance tasks as well as updating systems using the Software Updates feature in SCCM - Operating System Deployment (OSD) experience - Device Management Experience - Extensive experience with Package Creation & Advertising (including ramifications of the various options that are available) - Experience moving Primary Site Servers to alternative hardware (Disaster Recovery) - Can differentiate between the following: Local and Roaming Boundaries in SCCM Local and Remote Roaming Global and Regional Roaming Delete and Delete Special Resource Classes: System, USER, User Group - Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft BITS, SCCM Site Server Roles: SLP, MP, DP, RP, SMP, HVP - Ability to work in an international environment austin tx texas
