Part-time Contract Bookkeeper Job Opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota - Visualarts is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper requiring 2-4 hours of work weekly for a small business on a consulting basis. We are an art gallery / showroom located within International Market Square, just outside of Downtown Minneapolis. We work with interior designers as well as the public in a fast paced and vibrant atmosphere.
Responsible for overall accuracy of small business accounts payable and receivable including:
Responsible for Quick Books data entry
Posting and reconciliation of accounts receivable / payable for the business of all cash, check, credit card, and debit card transactions
Recording business deposits
Maintain accurate accounts receivable in compliance with all company accounting policies
Completing end of month closing procedures with the business owner
*Compensation commensurate with experience
