Business Development Specialist - Technical Sales (OTE $70-$... Job Opening in Marlborough, Massachusetts - The Business Development Specialist will proactively increases sales in the Datacenter practice specifically HP Enterprise (servers, storage, etc.) by working directly with the Account Managers and sales management team to penetrate accounts and increase our market share in the focus business segment(s). The Business Development Specialist maintains and increases knowledge of their specific technology practice area by attending trainings and/or achieving certifications.
IT aptitude with strong desire to continually learn and apply latest technologies
Knowledge of HP Enterprise products preferred.
Working knowledge of Datacenter (servers and storage)
Adept at proactively finding business opportunities within existing customer base
Understanding inside sales strategies and upselling for upgrades and other add on products
Action oriented with strong executional skills
Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills with ability to collaborate with Account Managers and to engage customers
Highly self-motivated and results-driven
Excellent time management skills
Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent preferred
Proven solution development and presentation skills
Minimum four years sales experience required
Marketing experience preferred
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word
