Regional Sales Job Opening in Hyannis, Massachusetts - Swipe for a Cause was founded to raise money for hospice utilizing merchant services. Fundraising for hospice care is at the core of what we do. To do this, we have developed a company that is the best at customer service in the merchant services industry. We are a small and growing company at an exciting stage of development.
Primarily a customer facing role, manages all aspects of the client relationship to include:
Sales presentations, sales negotiation, sales closing, and on-boarding
Consulting with merchant to determine the best set-up for their business.
Implementation and installation
Customer service and follow-up
Marketing yourself and the Company in the community or region you represent.
Attending networking/business events
Attending a referral organization
Calling on businesses to generate leads. Must be comfortable cold-calling on the phone, in-person, and via e-mail.
Required Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Computer proficiency in Office is required. Training will be provided on Swipe's CRM, but candidates must become proficient quickly.
Ability to learn the technical aspect of payment processing, training provided
In order to succeed, candidates must take the time to learn the technical and pricing side of the industry. When a Swipe for a Cause agent makes the sale, they give the client their mobile number, e-mail, and must provide personal customer service to that client throughout the relationship. This level of customer service is integral to the value of Swipe for a Cause's services.
Self Disciplined and independent. This position is for regional sales and home-based.
This is a salary plus commission position requiring independent work. Agent residual commission can be a fairly reliable stream of income that constantly grows with every sale.
