IT Supervisor Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - ANAX Business Technology is seeking an IT Supervisor to join our team and lead a dynamic group of Network Engineers in the fast-paced SMB segment. Responsibilities:
Direct supervisor for seven Network Engineers including maintaining employee utilization rates, conducting schedule conflict resolution and ensuring workload balance.
Responsible for ensuring the quality of service provided to all ANAX accounts by conducting network auditing and maintaining consistent interaction with client points of contact.
Act as the Lead Network Admin/IT Manager for several of our largest accounts providing overall technical direction and maintaining the ?10,000 foot? view of client needs.
First point of contact for escalated technical issues and client management.
Basic Requirements:
Experience leading a team of technical professionals
Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis.
Excellent written and verbal skills including the ability to communicate technical items to non-technical individuals.
A minimum of five years providing technical support for PCs, servers, and network infrastructure including experience deploying and maintaining the following Microsoft technologies:
* Windows 7 - 10
* Office 2010 - 2016
* Windows Server 2008 ? 2012 R2+
* Exchange Server 2010 ? 2013+
* Office 365
* mobile devices
Experience with implementing and maintaining virtual machines and related hypervisor infrastructure
Experience implementing and maintaining corporate data backups
Microsoft Certification or the ability to complete a certification within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of the technical security and compliance requirements related to HIPAA, PCI-DSS, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Sarbanes?Oxley Act
Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or better, or a similar third-party client/server SQL product
Experience with VMware vSphere products
iSCSI and/or Fiber-channel SAN experience
Experience planning and leading technology implementation projects
Experience implementing and managing SIP-based phone systems
Experience with account management and client relations
Experience working with technology in the legal vertical
Experience in a customer service oriented position
