Advocacy Trust, LLC (AT) is a Tennessee state chartered trust company with offices in Chattanooga, TN. AT specializes in special needs trusts and has over $300 million in trust assets under administration.
Advocacy Wealth Management, LLC (AWM) is a SEC Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) specializing in the financial planning and wealth management for individuals and their families that have received legal settlements, and their attorneys. AWM manages over $500 million for clients and has been named as one of the fifty fastest growing Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) in the country in each of the past three years.
Role and Responsibilities:
Serve as the clients? primary financial advisor. Coordinate, deliver, and provide financial products and services for assigned clients via on-going relationship management.
Work with clients and appropriate internal and external partners to implement all solutions and/or recommendations presented in the financial plan. Meet with clients at least annually to update plan information.
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with various specialists (IRM Partners) designated to support client service and client development efforts. Serve as an advocate for clients with other business units.
Assume responsibility for proper documentation and proper review of clients? financial situation.
Monitor, maintain and update activity, pipeline and other pertinent information using the firm?s contact management system.
Stay abreast of changing economic, legal, financial planning, investment trends, and general market and business issues impacting clients. Serve as a personal financial advisory resource for clients, their attorneys and CPAs.
Required Skills and Competencies:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. License requirements must be obtained in the first 90 days of employment
Series 65
Life and Health licenses
Bachelor?s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance or banking or equivalent education and related experience
High aptitude for client relationship management, business development and sales. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications
Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
Desired Skills:
Completion or enrollment in professional-level certification programs such as Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified Financial Planner, or Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.
