Medical Billing Specialist Job Opening in Newark, Delaware - Our client, a large organization located in New Castle, DE, is looking to hire a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist. Ideal candidates will have experience with A/R follow up, medical billing and insurance verification.
Responsibilities:
Follow up with payors and other third parties on claims
Provide resolutions and resolve discrepancies for accounts
Handle appeals process and secondary billing
Report on carrier payments and any denials
Requirements:
2+ years of accounts receivable experience within a large healthcare environment
Working knowledge of insurance verification and follow-up processes
Strong customer service skills
This position is temporary to permanent and the client has multiple openings. This is an immediate need.
