We are seeking a dynamic self-starter to join our team as a Tax Specialist. This is a part-time, seasonal position with the potential to turn into full-time.
Key Accountabilities:
Prepare 1099?s and W2?s
Prepare and review tax returns
Handle routine client tax questions
Work with client to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
Research ongoing tax changes
Present findings and final return to client (in person or on the phone)
May assist in reviewing client financial transactions and bookkeeping
Preferred Qualities:
B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA certification preferred
Background: Agriculture background helpful but not required
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communicator, strong work ethic, clear focus on ethical standards, must be familiar with accounting programs
Must have experience in tax preparation for individuals, corporations, sole proprietorships, S Corporations and Limited Liability Company?s
