JOB OVERVIEW
APR is currently seeking a Software Engineer to work with a team of systems and software engineers primarily located in Huntsville, AL.
DESCRIPTION
The person in this role will:
Development of Primary Flight Display software for a Multi-Function Display (MFD). Development takes place in a collaborative team environment and often includes team members from diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds. Customers are both foreign and domestic and include all branches of the armed services.
QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for this opportunity candidates must have:
US Citizens with the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance
Software Models
ARINC Standards and Protocols (especially ARINC429, ARINC661, and ARINC653)
Ada, C, and Python programming languages
Vectorcast, ALM, Jama, JIRA and DOORS proficiency
Understanding and experience with successful avionics software development programs, including certification to DO-178B/C Design Assurance Levels A/B/C/D
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Rate: $45/hour
