Pahl's Designer Showroom located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota has two great opportunities to join our team as a Showroom Associate. We are looking for a full-time and a part-time candidate to join our team. This position will focus on the specific needs of the project, client, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders. As a supporting member of the sales team, an ability to effectively understand and support the needs of the customer and the company will be required for success in this role. If you have a background in Lighting, Plumbing and/or Interior Design that would be awesome: however if that?s not your background but you have a desire to learn, a passion for customer service and the ability to interpret the needs of your customers, we want to hear from you!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work effectively as a team with JHL management and all JHL personnel
Promote and maintain the image and reputation of JHL ensuring customer satisfaction
Provide high level of communication with consumers and contractors
Provide lighting and plumbing product, pricing, and design
Assist customers in the showroom while taking care of incoming phone calls
Participate actively in the upkeep and merchandising of the displays in the in the showroom
Follow through the entire sales process including where necessary the return of merchandise
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education in lighting, plumbing or interior design or equivalent experience ideal
2+ years? experience in retail/direct and/or showroom experience
A dedicated passion for providing external and internal customer service
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, & communication skills
Ability to multi task and collaborate within a multi-functional team.
Strong analytical and decision making skills
Detail oriented, organized, consistent and tenacious
Computer and math skills
Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
Meeting our customer needs are a priority so Saturday hours will be required
