SRE JBoss Resource will be involved in all aspects of application portfolio development, support, and automation including architectural design, SDLC activities, production troubleshooting and optimization, and build out of new environments to satisfy business requirements. The candidate will handle team of Production Ops resources onshore/offshore and will suggest best practices for maintaining, monitoring and running production applications. The goal is to have a DevOps team that will help in design and build integration between multiple on premises and/or cloud hosted systems. The Architect must be capable of understanding business requirements, working with Business/Technology leaders, Enterprise Architects and End Users to develop a proposed solution and work with the technical team to develop and deploy the solution. This position requires experience with multiple middleware applications, including expert level knowledge with JBoss EAP / JBoss Fuse Middleware platform primarily and Integration, as well as experience in detailed requirements analysis, software design, testing, deployment and operations Requirements: * Must be able to provide root cause analysis, automate tasks, and debug code * Develops automated solutions to resolve problems before outages occur * Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk/New Relic) and determining components to monitor. Must also be able to create dashboards, reports, and define/create self-healing actions based on detected anomalies. * Must be able to transition from development to operations tasks as the need dictates * Java application development and the ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues * Experience with Installing, maintaining, tuning, troubleshooting, upgrading Java, Jboss, Fuse, Enterprise Application Platform, HornetQ, Tomcat, and application clustering * Experience running Oracle and Microsoft SQL Queries * Strong Linux OS familiarity and shell scripting * Experience in analysis and tuning of JVM heap, garbage collection and stack traces * Must be detail oriented and able to work under little direction * Experience working with teams developing in an Agile methodology * Provides leadership for junior team members, and strong client interfacing skills * Assist project leadership in designing the approach for middleware projects, including selection of technologies, setting technical directions, estimating/planning and directing developers * Knowledge of SOA Design patterns for building middleware systems ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms. * Knowledge of Web Services Interoperability, WS-* standards and ability to suggest, criticize and formulate solutions in a multi-vendor and architecture committee meetings. * Good understanding of integration design patterns & best practices * Provide technical ability screening for new team members * Work/Assist on technical POC's to prove out technology and ultimately leading into selection * Strong documentation skills Qualifications: * 4+ years of experience working as a Integration Developer, 2+ years with JBoss Fuse and 2+ years Production Operations experience * 5+ years of software development experience. * Experience with large Full Life Cycle (FLC) project implementations, with hands on delivery. * Experience with all aspects of the system implementation process of system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and support including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, designing the future state solution, the development objects related to their process scope, as well as supporting testing and post implementation support * Experienced with DevOps model and practices of Continuous Integration. * Familiarity with the following tools - Jenkins, Maven, Stash, GIT, SVN, Splunk, Soap UI, CA LISA, and HP UFT * Experience with design, development and deployment of SOA based architecture for a large organization leveraging multiple COTS Business applications is preferred * Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, XSLT, WS-*, SOA/Integration, and API Management technologies and standards * Experience with using a JAVA IDE (JBDS, Eclipse, Intelli J, Netbeans, webMethods Developer) * Designed and developed Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts including REST-ful and SOAP-based services * Designed and developed enterprise services using RAML and REST based APIs * Experienced in both Agile and waterfall methodologies * Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all level of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients * Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills * Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or any related field and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience providing IT enablement solutions * JBoss Fuse certification highly preferred.
