We are seeking skilled licensed Registered Nurses for all shifts. Candidate must be able to observe and evaluate physical, social and emotional needs of the facility's residents. Job candidate is expected to prepare and administer medications and treatments and delegate the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established facility policies and procedures.
Job Duties:
-Complete admission process for new residents
-Receive and transcribe physicians orders for current and new residents
-Receive and place calls to
-Administer and record all treatments according to physicians orders
-Complete and oversee progress notes reflecting plan of care and establish goals
-Understands and carries out appropriate procedures for narcotics ie: acceptance from pharmacy, distribution to residents, narcotic count/incorrect narcotic count procedure
-Completes general assessment and risk assessment for all residents new and existing
-Maintain a strong working relationship with labs, therapists, physicians, consultants and administration
-Manages and disciplines subordinate staff (UAs, CNAs, CMTs, etc) as deemed appropriate by employee policies
-Trains and orients new staff
-Understands facility's policies and procedures
-Leads by example
