Front Desk Receptionist Job Opening in Watertown, South dakota - Position Requirements:
Either 2 year degree or 2 years of experience in Office Assisting, Accounting or Related Field preferred but not required
Previous Customer Service experience highly preferred
Must be proficient and independent using Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and Word
Customer service is essential ? candidates for this position must adhere to the highest level of customer service
Must have excellent communication skills ? Professional and Prompt telephone skills will be very essential.
Must have a drivers license and ability to use vehicle for errands
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality both in and out of the workplace.
Position Details:
Hours will vary Monday through Friday 8:00 ? 5:00 with a 1 hour lunch break.
Hours and scheduled shifts may vary and increase during tax season to include overtime. Some weekends will be required and shifts will run as late as 9 pm.
A confidentiality agreement and no compete agreement is to remain in force. Employee will abide to the highest possible level of confidentiality. This will include not disclosing clients or any client information to any outside source.
Work Duties :
Telephone
Employee will cover the front desk and be tasked with answering and transferring telephone calls, taking messages, scheduling appointments, meeting face to face with clients, etc.
Will be required to screen messages and customers requests and know how to handle situations with customers in account managers absence and know when it is appropriate to contact us for assistance.
Will work with appointment master scheduling.
Errands
May be responsible for banking and customer errands on various work days ? positive interaction, friendliness and customer service is essential. Will be reimbursed for mileage at IRS reimbursement rate.
Will go to a variety of customers businesses on a daily basis for account managers.
Assist Account Managers
Help with data entry and special projects as needed (QuickBooks/Excel and Word)
Will do all scanning (electronic filing) on a daily basis for all account managers
Will work with daily back up of all electronic files
Duties as assigned as deemed necessary by supervisor.
