We have the following job opportunity available: TOOL & DIE MAKER TOOL & DIE MAKER Will build jigs, fixtures, blanking dies, form dies, and progressive dies using CNC and conventional machines; must also be able to design when needed. In addition to strong technical skills, must work well with others including a demonstrated ability to effectively train others and work with engineers and shop personnel. Essential Skills, Education, and Experience: Requires strong conventional machining expertise and working knowledge of CNC. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with all departments and levels of internal and external personnel. The successful candidate will rely on extensive experience with manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures to plan and achieve goals. Must be decisive with strong analytical and technical skills, and able to constructively solve problems with creativity and latitude. Requires solid understanding and experience with concepts associated with Kaizen and Lean principles. Ideal candidate will have experience with "short run" manufacturing, new product design, and troubleshooting machine and tooling issues. Must have a several years related experience at journey level. Requires strong leadership skills. Success Factors: Be available to work any shift needed to support our growing needs. In addition, production and other shop-related positions require the ability to: Work any shift needed to support production (day, swing, grave shifts). Proficient shop math skills (accurate with decimals & fractions). Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Ability to learn to read and understand manufacturing planning and precision measurement equipment. Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
