Belden Universal is seeking a Technical Sales candidate to coordinate cross departmental communications to organize and create detailed specifications to meet the customer?s universal joint and drive shaft assembly requirements. The qualified individual will also provide dedicated support to the sales team.
Responsibilities
As part of the Sales Business Development Team
Collaborate with Sales, Design Engineering and Production to establish product development priorities.
Proactively identify and address customer's technical needs to drive sales.
Provide technical support to Sales in promoting new products, developing new applications and addressing technical inquiries.
Perform technical benefits assessment for customers by gaining detailed understanding of their environment.
Assist sales team through preparation and delivery of technical presentations.
Acting as technical liaison between manufacturing and the customer?s engineering and quality groups.
Travel to customer sites as needed, depending on the customer engagement.
Travel to Belden?s German Sales Office to collaborate on applications to develop new business internationally.
