Customer Support Analyst Job Opening in Parsippany, New jersey - Med-Metrix offers next generation healthcare Business Intelligence and Revenue Cycle Performance Management technology solutions, workflow driven outsourced services, and expert advisory capabilities honed by many years of direct operational experience. Our mission is simple: To help our clients improve their margins and efficiency. We are currently seeking talented and motivated individuals in the Customer Support team in our Parsippany, NJ offices. In this position, you will work closely with our clients on Med-Metrix?s Business Intelligence and Revenue Cycle tools (Dashboard, Valuation, Cost Accounting, Workflow, Contract Management, Vendor Management and others).
Job Purpose
The Customer Support Analyst will deliver best in class customer service to all internal and external customers and works closely with an experienced team of Med-Metrix Subject Matter Experts with operational expertise in both Healthcare Finance and the Revenue Cycle to understand client requests and coordinate ongoing support of the Med-Metrix suite of products and/ or services to our diverse customer base.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customers experience
Delivers superior customer service while diagnosing and resolving client application, data and connectivity issues
Provides coordination and clear communication via phone, email, and via tickets or other client support activities to both internal and external customers
Perform first level diagnostics and, where necessary, coordinate with internal Med-Metrix Teams to effectively triage and facilitate issue resolution and client delivery
Supports application functionality and remains current on release updates and product knowledge
Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making. Handles issues in the best interest of both customer and company
Assists with software testing releases as required
Keep abreast of new company products and services
Perform other duties, as assigned
Strong Candidates must have:
Demonstrated integrity and has a passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
Ability to communicate with others, including customers, in a clear, understandable and professional manner on the phone, via email and in person; and demonstrated use of good written (i.e. good grammar/spelling) and verbal communication skills
Proven knowledge and experience in customer support including managing multiple or complex client accounts
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
Work cooperatively and effectively with others in a rapidly changing environment
Strong decision making and analytical abilities
Think creatively to develop new and unique ways to improve workflow within the department
Strong detail orientation and skills
Able to manage time efficiently
Minimum Knowledge, Competencies & Qualifications:
A Bachelor?s Degree and 1+ years of Client Services work experience
Excellent proficiency with MS Office and ticketing system(s)
Basic understanding of Healthcare Finance and Revenue Cycle Analytics preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Energetic with strong desire to learn
Specific shifts may be required
