JOB SUMMARY:
As an Account Manager, you are responsible for maintaining and expanding a portfolio of customers in the foodservice and convenience markets. You will be expected to maximize sales and profits through the distribution of our wholesale products. Our ideal candidate will have experience working within the foodservice or convenience industry and be an independent thinker with strong social skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and maintain customer relations
Generate and qualify leads.
Accounting for payments if received.
Work with manufacturing reps to promote products
Assist customers in menu development
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
Utilize promotional programs provided
Maintain professionalism while interacting with customers and co-workers.
Ensure that orders are placed in a timely manner to ensure proper delivery.
Any other associated function required to complete the tasks assigned by the Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Basic computer operation including email, spreadsheets, and internet.
Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, or communications desired.
Foodservice or restaurant sales experience.
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Ability to work independently.
Self Starter.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Hours:
Standard business work week with some flexibility.
Attend bi-weekly sales meeting in Wisconsin Dells.
