Project management responsibilities include delivering projects on-time within budget and scope. This candidate must have the ability to manage complex initiatives by combining strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills. The project manager is a self-motivated professional who enjoys the challenge of implementing technological business solutions from start to finish. This is a direct full-time position located in Madison, Wisconsin.
Expectations:
Develops, defines and executes project plans, scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
Manages project activities including identifying specific client goals.
Ensures requirements from sales, operations and development teams align with client needs.
Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members and client.
Monitors work of project providing technical and analytical support and direction.
Interfaces with clients on all project matters.
Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation.
Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, both internally and with clients.
Possible travel required.
Requirements:
1-5 years previous experience as a project manager in the technology sector
Solid technical background with an understanding of software development
Knowledge of project management principles and tools (Agile preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
