Regional Director of Sales Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Pathway Management, LLC (founded in 1997) is a privately held, Chicago-based company that is dedicated to changing the way society ?THINKS? about aging and senior living. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and implement sales and marketing programs to ensure the company meets and/or exceeds occupancy goals and objectives. Work in conjunction with regional operations, executive directors and community sales and outreach staff for select portfolio of Pathway to Living communities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develop, implement and evaluate sales and marketing plans and forecasts to achieve the company?s sales, occupancy and revenue objectives.
Complete monthly report and weekly updates to VP of Sales and Marketing
Assist in recruitment, hiring, training and ongoing support/mentoring of community Lifestyle Specialists (LS) and Directors of Community Relations (DCR).
Develop, implement and evaluate all lead generation activities including advertising and direct mail in accordance with company and fair housing standards.
Complete First Impression Audits on visits and provide feedback to ED, LS, VP of Sales and Marketing
Evaluate communities based on pre-defined criteria and provide assistance as necessary in order to ensure compliance (i.e. Marketing Audit).
Conduct regularly scheduled outreach and marketing meetings to increase and develop staff knowledge and skills.
Lead weekly marketing calls for under budget communities. Complete a brief summary to VP of Operations and VP of Sales and Marketing.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred or equivalent work-related experience.
Minimum of five years previous experience in a progressive managerial sales position.
Demonstrated ability and proven track record of sales performance, marketing techniques and financial principles.
Previous sales experience in seniors housing preferred.
Valid driver?s license and personal automobile.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written direction in the English language at a level adequate to perform the job duties.
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
