The Sales Engineer will be responsible for leading and directing equipment sales opportunities and prospecting new business possibilities, while collaborating with sales team. Present and create proposals, process flow analysis and equipment layout illustrations. Communicate with team to determine operation and production cost amounts.
Responsibilities ? Sales Engineer
Understand and articulate the development of the products and processes of the equipment
Participate in equipment specification, selection, layout and installation
Communicate with Product Engineers and Marketing department to help determine improved equipment design and reduction of cost
Act as a liaison between the customer and site manufacturing and quality departments
Keep up-to-date with the status of project related tasks
Requirements ? Sales Engineer
Bachelor?s degree in Engineering
Previous experience Heavy Equipment Industry preferred
Experience with Engines or Engine-related components
Experienced with Autocad or 3D design software
Travel may be required (10%)
