Entry Level - Ideal for Recent Grad with Business, Engineering or Construction Management Degree
We are currently seeking someone who will support our general contractor customers by delivering and upselling small construction tools and equipment directly to the job site. Reporting directly to our Business Manager, this new position will play a key role in both providing customer satisfaction delivering items sold by our Salesman, as well as they opportunity to grow sales themselves while on the job sites!
This is a full-time, 1st shift position with competitive wage (plus commission) and benefits .
Will train the right candidate.
DUTIES
Utilizing a brand new fully stocked equipment supply van, the Outside Sales Representative will?
Take orders from customers and salesmen for equipment rental. Generate contracts.
Notify mechanics which equipment to prepare for rental.
Instruct drivers on delivery and pick-up of rental equipment.
Generate customer invoices once equipment is returned. Maintain COD customer payments.
Sell small tools and construction equipment to our customers while at the job site and develop customer relations
Creating new customers and visiting municipalities & industrial parks
Make deliveries for salesman or the dispatch dept. to the customer
Up sell additional items to our customers
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to service customers in a friendly and professional manner in person and by phone.
Must be organized to effectively and efficiently prepare daily delivery schedule and assign route to drivers.
Must have excellent math and computer skills.
Must maintain a valid driver?s license with acceptable driving record.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Associate's degree required
