Sales Associate/Cashier Job Opening in Gulf Shores, Alabama - Job Summary: Sales Associates and Cashiers needed for fast growing, rapidly expanding chain of retail stores. We are looking for hard-working, honest, and friendly individuals with a desire to provide outstanding service. Ideal candidate must be able to handle various tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. Responsible for maintaining guest services as per Company Policy/Store standards. Essential Job Functions (Sales Associate) :
Greet customers entering establishment.
Maintain clean and orderly sales floor.
Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control and compliance procedures.
Assist customers with choices and help them locate and provide information about products.
Maintain awareness of product knowledge information, merchandise promotions and advertisements.
Assist in merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
Communicate Guest requests to management.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Essential Job Functions (Cashier):
Receive payment by cash, credit cards, gift cards, etc.
Issue receipts or change due to customers.
Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and accountability at registers
Greet customers entering establishment.
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
Assist customers with choices and help them locate and provide information about products.
Maintain awareness of product knowledge information, merchandise promotions and advertisements.
Assist in merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
Communicate Guest requests to management.
Any other duties assigned by management.
Minimum requirements: - Retail experience is helpful, but not necessary- Must successfully pass background screening
