As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on the frontend, you will be a technical leader in our small and nimble engineering team. You?ll get to play a key role in building out the stellar user experience across devices that is critical to our product's success. At the same time, we value utility team players who are scrappy and willing to do whatever it takes to make customers successful, whether that means learning new tools, fixing legacy code when needed, or jumping on customer escalations.
What you will do
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve customer-facing, cloud software
Focus on the frontend, with occasional work across the full-stack
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within the Agile SCRUM methodology
Mentor others in your areas of expertise
Collaborate with Design, QA, DevOps, Product, and Support teams
Minimum qualifications
5+ years of frontend JavaScript development with 2+ years in AngularJS
Experience with building frontend-heavy applications and highly distributed systems
Strong grasp of software engineering principles and practices
Passion for code and code quality
Strong people, communication, and leadership skills
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Angular 4, React, other modern JavaScript libraries and tooling
Experience with SaaS and Learning Management Systems
Familiarity with Agile SCRUM methodology
