Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Opening in Williamsburg, Virginia - Part-Time Accounts Receivable
Position offers flexible hours Monday-Friday between 8am - 5pm, 20 hours per week.
Essential Job Functions
Record customer payments, make daily online deposits
Review status of delinquent accounts daily and initiate collection action by contacting customers
Issue monthly statements
Monitor customer credit limits
Process liens specific to receivables when necessary
Access collection issues and escalate customer concerns to the general manager and sales team allowing optimum potential for resolution
Interface with other departments to resolve purchase order posting/billings issues
Other duties and as needed
Job Requirements:
Experience in negotiations and collections
Associates or Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/related field or proven experience in collections/AR
ERP system Experience (Great Plains, SAP, JD Edwards, etc) or related platforms using Job Cost
Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Drug Free Workplace. Background check is required.
