AP / BOOKKEEPER ? FULL TIME
We are a growing diversified plastics company located in Melrose Park seeking a high character, reliable and detail focused Accounts Payable / Bookkeeper for a full-time position. We are looking for someone who has a high degree of character & integrity, is well organized and is self-motivated. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with Accounts Payable software (preferably MAS 90 / Sage 100 or similar) and MS Office proficiency.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Data entry into MAS 90 / Sage 100 accounting software
Bi weekly check runs-review A/P aging
Monthly bank & credit card reconciliations
Record and post deposits as necessary
Maintain records & filing for business operations (i.e. insurance, HR & business process)
Vendor returns maintenance & information processing
Light customer service phone & email responsibility in a shared team environment
Required Skills & Experience
Must possess values of honesty, integrity and teamwork
Strong organizational skills with above average accuracy
Proficiency in MAS 90 / Sage 100 (or similar), Microsoft Excel and Word are required
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
Demonstrates initiative, is self-driven and above all motivated
